Invited Talk in Prof. Krishnamachari's IoT class at USC on Zotbins

I recently got an opportunity to work on submitting a NSF SCC Proposal titled “Towards Zero Waste: AI‑Enabled and trust‑awareInfrastructure for Incentives‑based Waste Management”. It was collaborative effort from University of California, Irvine and University of Southern California (USC) with Professors Sharad Mehrotra, Nalini Venkatasubramanian, Bhaskar Krishnamachari, Jyotirmoy Vinay Deshmukh, Luyi Gui, and Paul Bogdan. After working together on the proposal Prof. Krishnamachari invited me to present ZotBins in his class: EE-250 Distributed Systems for the Internet of Things. With the help of ZotBins members, I prepared a talk explaining the importance of proper waste management and different challenges related to it. I also introduced ZotBins system and its different subsystems in detail. You can find the slide deck below.
